Overview

Welcome to the  Open Source Initiative's (OSI) issue tracker and wiki! This complements the official  OpenSource.org website as a way for the community to share information, submit ideas, and escalate issues for consideration by the  OSI Board. That is, you should always go to  OpenSource.org for the OSI's official policy, but come here for the  color commentary by the community.

Actual discussions should take place on the  OSI Mailing Lists. Issues raised on the mailing are turned into tickets that are managed by a team of volunteer Trackers, just as the wiki content is managed by the OSI Editors. They provide a basic level of governance and quality control for this web site; that said, nothing on this site should be construed as formal legal advice. See our  Terms of Service for additional disclaimers.
